Die Cutting
Our extensive range of in-house cutting capabilities include die cutting, kiss cutting and flat cutting services.
Die Cutting allows us to cut any shape into various plastics. Our dies are made using very sharp steel rules formed into the desired shape. Dies are designed to cut, score, crease or perforate. Plasti-Fab has numerous dies readily available and can also produce customized dies for your project. Round corners, holes and irregular shapes are good examples of die cutting.
Kiss Cutting is a process in which the top layer of a material can be cut without cutting through an attached material. Sticker labels are a good example of a product that is kiss cut. The outline of the label can be cut without cutting the release (back) material.
Guillotine Flat Cutting smoothly and accurately trims a wide verity of materials and thickness.
